Asteria Lite

After roughly six months of attempting to get support or some type of response from the developer, Towfiq, I’m done! The Asteria Lite worked wonderfully. I made the mistake of upgrading to the paid Asteria Pro version, which is where there have been nothing but problems from day one. I’ve sent numerous inquiries to the developer. This Pro theme is problematic. I have posts from the Lite version which are now in the Pro version; either hidden in desktop mode or appears only in mobile usage, or they appear on my Blog page. My Google map had disappeared entirely from my Contact page. These are just a few of the issues I’ve encountered. I will never use or recommend another theme from this developer as I no longer trust his credibility. Now I’m trying to remove this Asteria Pro theme altogether from my website.

I’ve installed this theme on two webpages. One with the lite version and one with the pro version. But the support for the theme (also if you choose pro version) is very lazy…. Not very professional…

Slider not working, total waste of time

Nice theme with lots of options. Easy to navigate and simple to learn. I’m really enjoying this one.

For me a very functional theme.

I have definitely encountered issues with element placement, font implementation, and other glitches, but for the most part this theme serves my purposes well. It definitely needs work, but was worth my money.

I have been designing websites for more than 6 years, mostly using wordpress, and this is one of the worst themes I have had to work with. It’s far too complicated, with various features tied to each other. Want to change the slider images? You need File access. Want to remove the detail boxes on the main page? The slider disappears with them.

There are other far more user-friendly themes out there offering all of these features without all this complication and fuss, which is why I removed it after several hours of trying to work with it and chose something simpler and user-friendly.

Brand new WordPress install – slider never worked correctly. Features tied together, if you remove one feature others crash – and that’s when using their own theme options. Did work somewhat when I gave up and started rewriting the code by hand – but there are just to many issues to recode the entire theme building on the original code.

I’ve use this one several sites and am really happy with it as well as the support. Highly recommended.
