I have been trying a lot of woocommerce themes lately for a site. My site is mainly catalog only site with external products. Majority of themes (such as from Envato) have been causing my site to slow down. I nearly considered not using wordpress + woocommerce for it anymore and started looking for alternatives.

but guess what I found? while searching on wordpress.org theme directory I came across Virtue which has turned out to be the best woocommerce theme for wordpress. The features are just what you would expect from your typical 50-80$ theme on Envato. My site is running much faster too which was my huge concern and using less resources now.This particular theme can stand tall alongside all the premium woocommerce themes. I think I might even consider buying premium version soon enough as well as try these guy’s other theme Pinnacle for another website.

I have been working with this theme for a few months now and it is safe to say that this theme is very feature rich, even the free theme! This theme works as good as it looks, there is a customization option for just about everything. The other huge plus of this theme is the support, wow is Ben a great guy who cares about his theme! I have always had quick responses that were thorough and told me everything I needed to know. If you own this theme and are questioning upgrading to the premium version, stop hesitating! If you are looking for a great free theme that looks great and functions well across devices, get the free version of this theme, its amazing.

I have been using this theme for several months now.

– It has quite a few configuration options and they are very well laid out.
– Very well supported (despite the fact that I use the free version) on the support forum as well as considering the availability of video tutorials (though they are over premium version, they give you the idea).
– I have had a memory-overuse situation which I overcame by increasing the allocated memory. It is more likely to have been caused by the size of my images rather than the theme itself, I think.

What an amazing job was done on this theme, it’s simply superb by far to any other free theme available on wordpress!

So easy to customize, so many options, simple and beautiful! would definitely recommend to anyone and especially to those (like me) who aren’t good with html/css coding.

This is the best theme for your self hosted WordPress site. Lot of options are available for customization. I recommend going for a developer license which gives you access to the premium version on unlimited sites. I am a user for both, free and premium version and I love this theme. Great work!

I feel really fortunate to have found the Virtue template. It is well-designed and is very stable. Having designed church and non-profit organization websites for years, I jumped from Joomla to WordPress in 2012. For TurnONtheLight-Bowie.org, the free version of Virtue and the Virtue Toolkit fit the design and needed capabilities. Although I don’t see the site selling products online, but other features offered with Virtue Premium will soon be needed. Thanks, KADENCE!
