Actuate

If you’re looking for a simple, easy-to-configure theme for a blog which displays a visual gallery of blog posts on the homepage, Actuate’s a good pick and it gives you ample opportunities to upgrade without limiting the theme’s core functionality if you don’t.

A little bit of documentation would make Actuate easier to use, though. There’s a “documentation” link from WordPress, the Mudthemes site and within the installed theme pointing to documentation, but the documentation page is almost blank. Even a screenshot-style walkthru of the menu would keep users from having to do a lot of trial and error, and could direct more potential buyers of your Premium themes.

Whatever the case, Actuate is a simple, solid, basic theme for a blog. Recommend.
