I am quite new to WordPress but in a relatively short time, I was able to make a REALLY good looking site using the Athena theme. I upgraded to the PRO version so that I could take advantage of the additional features and I am VERY happy with this theme.

I read an earlier review where someone was complaining about speed – make sure that the images you use are a reasonable size for the web (well under 1 MB) and the Jumbotron moves along nicely.

Kudos to the authors.

    Thanks Samantha, thats what I call support, someone helping to fix an issue and getting the job done. Thats great. Athena theme is great, but one thing I like to request is: that the email contact form in the header allows adding fields and it should be possible to change the field descriptors. And and visible / none visible button please.

    Really really despise being roped into liking a theme but not having all the information I need to make an educated decision. Only after installing and beginning to design do I see that there are only 2 slides available in the free version. There are no spots to see a comparison of the features of the free vs pro that I could find. Don’t have a rating for the theme since I uninstalled it immediately. Giving SmartCat the 1 star. Be honest with your product and your customers!
