If you want to design WordPress themes, but don’t have good enough php knowledge or foundation to build on, you are free to use this theme as base. It’s GPLv3-licensed. The theme documentation is also free to use (WTFPL).

How can I recover the previous features of the Github “full” version of the Hueman theme ?

The Hueman Addons plugin is ready and available on WordPress.org . You can download the latest release here. It replaces the former “full” version of the Hueman theme previously available on Github.

    I really like this theme. It is just powerful enough to do everything needed for http://daydull.com after some customizing (all through CSS and plugins, no editing of the core files was needed.)

    I’m not 100% sure what the differences between the free and paid versions are. I used the free version.

    The header area could use a little more customization options, like you have to use a very specific logo size and I had to do a lot of tweaking to get a header background image looking right.

    The addons plugin was nice to add sticky share buttons to posts and a few other minor things.

    In all it was a good framework to start with for a magazine style site. It worked better for me than all the other free magazine style wordpress themes I tried (10+).
