Thanks Raamdev for this excellent theme! I have just switched over from TwentyFourteen Magazine theme to Independent Publisher theme and guess what! It rocks! I am getting the desktop score of 90 via google page speed, and that’s incredible. However, I have to optimize couple of stuff as it was previously optimized for TwentyFourteen Theme.
It’s one of the best, neat and superb elegant theme especially for content publishers.
Thanks for the hard work Raamdev! I really mean it man! I am a designer, and I am going contribute more content for your demo theme site.

Love this theme and recommend it to all for a few reasons. I am using it on my personal blog.
Go to the theme website for all the change logs and fixes. Github project has all the documentation, not that you will need it with this simple theme.
Why I love Independant Publisher:
- Clean, responsive, easy to read theme which puts content first.
- Easy theme customization and support with regular updates from the developer. No need to mess around in “Theme Options”, all theme changes are done visually and real time through theme customization section.
- Good Widget options for those that want a more complex version of this theme.
- Has a child theme which you can download off github
- Small theme size, fast page load.

I love this theme. It’s clean with no fluff, beautiful without overwhelming your content at all. The developer obviously cares about design, usability, and clean code. I’m actually amazed this isn’t a premium theme.

This is a fantastic theme. The responsive elements are really nice (mobile screens as well as desktop). The theme options and social menu are really intuitive. The design looks great.
I’ve been a theme developer for many years and also help do code reviews for wordpress.org- the code quality here is top notch.
