Detail problems and bad support By Harm10, 2017-05-05 via wordpress.org

Theme looks nice when looking at the demo.
It certainly has pretty features but when you look in more detail as a web developer you will find more mistakes then you would like in the details.

Even more negative is the seemingly total lack of support in this forum. Apparently you need to first buy the theme to get some support. So my advice if you want to use a free theme: don’t get fooled by the nice look. Anyone needs support!

Description by Author

SKT Full Width as the name suggests is a full width WordPress theme which is both simple and adaptable. Often it is said images speak more than words and this is exactly how full width theme works. Get a nice website on top of nicely shot background images. Home page has customizable slider backgrounds with text optional. Logo, layout settings, social icons and contact details are easily customizeable in this Full Width Theme. This theme looks good on all devices and is responsive. Can be used by Photo bloggers, casual bloggers, portfolio, design studio, corporate sites as well. Added WooCommerce compatibility. Demo link: http://sktthemes.net/demo/fullwidth/

  • SKT Themes By Naomig, 2017-03-15 via wordpress.org

I am very disappointed, the homepage is not very flexible, it has to be the sections they give you (even when you select static homepage). I just find the theme awkward, if you don’t mind using the themes exactly as given then I suppose it is ok. You can change colors and fonts easily. My main problem is the homepage setting, if it was not for that I could deal with the rest of the theme/s. But the home page is important, and for that even though I bought the full set, I will now have to use another theme.

  • Decent theme but has issues By AlexHighHigh, 2016-04-18 via wordpress.org

I have this theme active on a client website.
The theme is very pretty overall but the developers have used many CSS classes that are used for other very standard things.

    A few issues include;
    – the .container class is a twitter bootstrap class and makes this theme incompatible with most plugins running twitter bootstrap.
    – any tables and contact forms added are instantly messed up by the CSS.
    – non responsive on mobile.

A great theme if you do not wish to customize it all.

  • no responsive By easycomunicazione, 2015-10-25 via wordpress.org

it isn’t responsive in free version!

  • Widgets not showing up on sidebar By s.wackles, 2015-08-25 via wordpress.org

I am trying to put a social widget on my sidebar under the page links.

I went under Appearance-Widgets and added the widget “Simple Social Icons” to the “Blog Sidebar”, but nothing is showing up on my page.

I just want little social icons under my pages on the sidebar, and can’t figure out how to do it. Is it my theme, or something else that is the problem?

  • Decrease Page Width in "SKT Full Width" WordPress Theme By JayGil91203, 2015-07-25 via wordpress.org

    Hi,

My site is: http://jaygilsphotography.com and I am trying to decrease the width of all pages; except The Home Page. Tried going to main.css and looking for the #wrapper to change the width, but it is not there?

One other change I want to do is on the Home Page, the “Contact” button, I would like to have open in a “New Window”.

Appreciate the assistance – thank you.

  • Excellent By zech46, 2015-06-25 via wordpress.org

Great theme out of the box.
Had everything changed over to this theme in one night.
Only issue, is that on phones, the menus are tiny.
Need to pinch to zoom to select.
But very responsive in phones and tablets.

  • Beautiful theme and good support By nplong, 2015-05-25 via wordpress.org

    Beautiful theme and good support

  • Looks great By pharaviel, 2015-05-25 via wordpress.org

It’s a great looking theme. I’m planning to buy the paid version for better mobile support.

There is something I don’t get (question for developer or fellow users): the top image of every post is deformed (like http://gunslingerdolls.danielefrizzi.it/photos/saber/ )

  • Claims responsive, but isn't By cdonner, 2015-05-25 via wordpress.org

No viewport metatag, no responsive framework under the hood. The theme falls apart on smaller screens. Not easily customizable CSS because the structure of elements is fairly immutable the way it is written. For example, try to add padding to the menu (it needs it). I don’t see much of a future for this theme.

  • Was not for me now for me as passed test :) By BBQ148, 2015-03-25 via wordpress.org

Just an update sent emails to SKT Themes and no response so that says it all…these are not responsive themes so in effect no use.

  • kind of confusing By Kuya Andy, 2015-03-25 via wordpress.org
