  • Customizability By solosauce, 2016-09-24 via themeforest.net This theme looks great. There are heaps of options for customising the various elements, but the basic options of being able to select simple customisations eg: changing footer color, or element colours etc seem to have to be done via custom css. Even making the logo appear bigger (as it's automatically reduced in size for retina display) took some figuring out (you had to input the default value into the height box) before it showed properly - there was no prompt or hint that this had to be done in order for it to show. One of the things that would be helpful is in the demo data, if the values to the options were already visible, it would make changing them easier and identifying what they targeted easier too - considering there are so many options you've made available. I think it's a theme that needs a lot of getting used to before you can work on it smoothly - and I regularly customise themes.

    When it comes to theme options - some of those were omitted like you mentioned, to have cleaner and also fast back-end.
    So some color styles should be applied with some simple css yes. But note that with theme purchase you've got support included, and our team at https://select.ticksy.com helps to all users, and provides all the necessary css codes.
    So we encourage you to get in touch with them. When it comes to demo settings - you can import our demo of course, and we always advise users to install WordPress locally on their PC, with Startit theme, and import demo they want, so they can see all the settings and replicate it for their live site. And our support team can also tell you about them , for any setting you interested in.
    Hopefully we will be able to improve this three stars ratings from you in the future.

  • Bugs By kostaefe, 2016-09-24 via themeforest.net Problem to include simple-line-icons.css and this causes the max_execution_time_out error. Fix it by my selfe. Now the theme is running nice... with 90sec max time out.

    Glad you've managed to fix it already. Yes, note that premium WordPress themes, like Startit is, have some higher requirements than the default ones, many of them recommend having max_execution_time at 180 , that is totally normal. It depends on the setup, 3rd party modules etc.

    Bridge theme is Multi-Purpose theme with 200+ demos and our Startit theme has one demo. Basically we had business presentations in our mind while creating this theme.
    That is why Bridge has ton of options and all of those are not necessary for Starlit theme. Please, note that we included plenty of options for customization of our powerful shortcodes and also our trained support agents are on your service for any other doubt of how to use our options or to help you with any further customization.
