A great theme for blog and portfolio, with a complete documentation to configure.
There are a probleam that make the galley disapear in home page. Just select “decreasing” in “Photo Post Option” that solve the probleam. It should be fixed by you, there’s nothing in documentation about that.

Unlike Pinterest, when you click on a photo in this theme it doesn’t load with its own URL.

So no chance to get each photo indexed with each its own URL. You can only get them indexed by indexing the gallery page.

One of the worst themes I have ever seen in terms of SEO.

This is a very attractive theme, and the support is very good-natured and helpful. There have been a few glitches, but Modern Themes is great about addressing them in updates or, in one case, fiddling with the code on my site to fix the problem. I also like the way they monitor the support forum and help people with whatever problems they have. I would totally recommend this theme. If I get bored of it at some point, I would definitely look first to Modern Themes for my next theme.

Just only one question: could you please add a few cyrillic fonts to theme setting?

The theme is great, I’m considering upgrading to the paid version due to it’s easy interface.
I’ve been struggling with various themes on WP.org for months due to my lack of technical knowledge, but the video documentation on Gridsby is amazing, and very easy to follow along – no cheesy music playing either!

I have one issue which I’m really struggling with…
If I create a post, I don’t see the post format option for ‘gallery’ on the drop down list, which should be there according to the video documentation. All I see is ‘standard’ and ‘image’. Due to this I have been unable to create more than 1 gallery portfolio. I have screen options enabled and really not sure what to do.

Any help on this guys is much appreciated!

Very nice theme to work. And believe me, it is worth to pay for the pro version.

Installed on an existing site, just had to assign missing Featured images & change posts to Image Post type, then the image grids began showing up fine. For categories, I figured out that ALL the posts had to be Image Post type or the grid template would not show. But the result is a beautiful display with some nice coding touches, such as when clicking on a grid thumbnail. Thanks!
