I managed the first attempt

In fact better than a load of paid themes. I have used it on my own site and client sites. It is excellent for clients getting started but also for serious users who want sophistication. Mega easy to use, but massively flexible. Perfect for all those clients who think purple fonts matter. I have donated to their coffee fund because developers like this ought to be encouraged, in fact I want to have their babies.

I don’t know how many themes I’ve been testing to get the right one.
But one day, heaven helped, I found Tempera !
It’s realy huge : graphics, settings, functions, templates,…
I can customize all with one pannel (and a bit personnal CSS).

And last but not least, it’s free !
Deserves a donation, really.

This has to be my all-time favourite WordPress theme! I have quite a few sites, and no matter how long I spend trying to find the right theme for each one, I always go back to this! It’s so configurable that each site on which it’s installed looks completely different to any other – love it!

The one and only thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that it’s not bbPress and BuddyPress friendly…I have to use full-width page templates for those plugins or else the sidebar shows beneath the content!
