I wasn't enthralled about spending that much, knowing that the lions share of website work was going to fall on me, as anyone other than me is not going to be able to know what to say about myself, and my agents, or have all the pictures, etc...
Chris was VERY responsive to all of my questions, and provided links to get me to where I needed to be to make the website work the way I wanted. And he still is.
$800 is a LOT for me to spend right now, and it's a lot of $$ to throw around for most other people too. However, considering that the other quotes for a website I got with the same functionality were closer to $5k-$13k, I'm very happy with the product I received, and the service I received. Is $800 too much for the work he did? Couldn't say. But it was well worth it when I have a product that works for 1/10th the cost of what I would have spent on someone who would have needed me to provide all the content, provide all the pictures, so they would "build" me a website.
That being said, I have been running a website for my small brokerage www.blue9realty.com for some time; using various different Wordpress Themes (and a few other sites as well, one for community theater) My bounce rate had always been high.. Like.. Snoop Dog high.
The first week after Chris got me set up, the bounce rate dropped 20%. Seriously, it dropped 20%. And I AM excluding my time on site, as well as his.
The depth people are going into the pages is better.
The response I am getting from users WAS 0. I am now getting calls and texts from people FROM MY SITE. It is awesome.
I couldn't be happier, and I am sorry the guy posting 3 days ago wasn't happy with Real Estate 7, but I had the exact opposite experience, and after reading his review, I felt it only fair to share mine.

When asked for support, Chris mentioned they're out of scope and he can quote for customisation.
My requests:
1) logo at the header appeared very big. What is the correct resolution? Is there setting in the theme to make the logo appear smaller?
2) Most of the listing categories are not applicable. Can I add/remove/hide them?
With Chris wanted more money, I have requested the following quotation:
1) Amending the listing categories (I attached the categories with some child and grandchild term)
- will not required the rest of the featured in the RE7 (ie city view/kitchen/etc)
- in the “search”, only show “Status”, “Property Type (drop menu)”, “Location” and “Price” (can input min and max). The rest will be hidden under “more search option”. The “more search option” appear as a “+” which is align to the right of the search box.
- The agents will be responsible to put in the location by district. However, the location by MRT will have to tag with google map so that the user can do a search by distance from the MRT
2) Ways to add/remove the categories (point 1) in future (front end or backend)
3) to reduce the size of the logo at the header
Chris did not ask for further clarification on the scope of work and quoted $875 (point 1) and $275 (point 3). After negotiation, we agreed to proceed with point 1 for US$800. With the scope of work spelled out in the email and amount paid, Chris showed his true colour after 2 day. Giving me some shit works which didn't fulfil any of the agreed work in point 1. After asking nicely to complete the work, he said he has rewrite the scope with 3 simple lines in paypal payment so he has fuifiled his job & mapping location to google map is too time consuming. Chris simply stop responding to email after that.
Conclusion, rigid theme & Chris is a money sucker who doesnt perform his job after getting payment

the theme is great and as they solve various bugs and add other options so the theme can be more international and not just based on the USA it can only get better.
My main complaint is that you can not change many of the search fields, add, rename them or move the position of them.
in many countries Zip codes still don't exist and some places even street names are missing.
i look forward to seeing more changes
