The theme is simple, clean and allows a lot of customizations. Currently I am using a custom page code. Sincerely hoped for an easier option to added a custom page template…

  • Responsive Design for Different Platoforms By Howard Young (@howardy), 2013-06-25 via

Great place to start if you want a custom theme that works for smart phones, tablets and workstations. The code is well document and easy to extend for your client’s requirements.

  • Uh, the Developer(s) need to learn the business model By ChadAustin, 2013-06-25 via

I quoted my client a certain amount time to develop his site, not realizing I was going to have an extra 3-4+ hr learning curve. I’m looking all over the place to make customizations. Foul. And I do not like- nor understand- why I spend time getting my images to look nice while WP thinks its ok to re-size them. No developer works that way. I get the REM stuff- but why everything is so hidden seems to be poor planning. Still- better than I could do on my own I guess.
