GeneratePress

Hi,

Like many others, I painfully research themes for each site I build–and I both love and hate the process. There are some beautiful themes out there that do some amazing things. But they are often bloated, filled with bad code, and come bundled with spotty support.

Not GeneratePress. I initially downloaded the free version (which is nicely done as well) However, when I checked out the add-ons, I was blown away by the added functionality.

They’re light-weight, and they just plain work. You can either buy each add-on for $5, or the whole bundle for $30 (at the time of this writing). Considering the functionality, it’s a no-brainer.

The cool thing? The sky is the limit with this theme. With some imagination, you can use GeneratePress as the framework for all of your sites.

I have finally found the theme I can use to quickly build out all of my sites. You can even easily save your settings and apply them to the next site to save time.

The developer obviously coded this with love. And a quick search on the theme’s site shows great support and plenty of documentation.

Enough said. This needs to be your default theme. I’m off to build my little section of the web.

There is no doubt Tom has done wonderful work by designing this theme & making it available for free. Generally I don’t like premium themes, but after using this for a while, if I have to purchase a theme then it should be “Generate Press”

Its so good it made a stingy person like me to buy the premium. Love it !

I am using this theme for a non-profit organization and I am happy with it. If I have a question I just go to my GeneratePress Account, post question or find answer from there.

Really very good! Clean theme that simplifies a lot of normally tedious tasks The addon packs save a lot of time tracking down and fiddling with css. Highly recommended.

I have used Generate Press for a few websites and love its ease of use. I have found Thomas in particular to be so good at helping out and answering all my silly questions. I will continue to use generate Press whenever I have an opportunity on a website.I always know that an answer will be forthcoming very soon after I have asked.

Super happy with the theme! Tom is always working behind the scenes to keep it fast, light and functional. Tom’s support has to be one of the best, if not the best I’ve ever come across on the web or elsewhere.

We can’t expect everything to be perfect in website design. What we can expect is that when there is a problem it gets 1) acknowledged and then 2) fixed. GeneratePress had a little hiccup with a new version. Tom looked into the problem on our website, acknowledged the problem and then came up with a clean workaround for it in short order. This is close enough to perfection for me.

GP replaced our old theme to give us a responsive web design. That and the responsive help is the reason we’re staying with GP.

This is one of my favorites, I am able to use and customize this for almost all my clients! Highly recommend you get the addons too.
