Custom Community

This theme can be customized so much! It was a little overwhelming since it has so many options, but it’s better than no options. It’ll be easier to use once you grasp this theme’s capabilities.

If it’s still too out of the box, the developers encourage & make it really easy to create a child theme so you can edit their files even more.

And anytime something goes wrong, there is amazing support from the developers & other Custom Community theme users.

This is a great theme, ready to go, easy to use – deserving of 5 stars, except for one issue. For the first few months it was working great, but with the last update to the theme, the slideshow stopped working. I disabled my plugins to make sure they weren’t the problem. There are some work arounds on the forums and some have gone back to an earlier version of WP and found that worked for them. I just updated to WP 3.5.1 and the slideshow still isn’t working. So, I’m waiting on the next theme update for the fix. One other thing I noticed is there are around 40 areas for widgets, which seems excessive to me, but maybe some of the larger sites with tons of members find them useful. It does have some additional features for groups that I’m not using at present.

Very versatile and easy to use!

This theme should be example for all other themes, as it gives you more option to can play around with.

Also I had a problem with the search page using the latest WP and BP.

My hopes were up for an extraordinarily customizable theme. But I found the selection process clumsy, (as another reviewer in Spanish mentioned, too many thin horizontal lines. The flop like venetian blinds. I was particularly unhappy with the limited fonts. So I bought the Pro version that promised so much more. The fonts were still not appealing. Perhaps my skills are inadequate to the theme. But I’ve tried others that were easy for me.

This great theme destroyed a buddy press powered website. It was installed 2 minutes ago and had a few posts on it for experimental reasons. After installing and activating the theme, frontend and backend went to nirvana. Thanks, great job. [ expletive deleted, watch the language ]

This theme has helped us out a lot because of it’s many possibilities regarding customizing. We offer the theme to several users, and they all feel they get their own personal feel on it. I alos love how much effort the Custom Community developers have put into making the settings a graphical matter more than a coding matter, to put it that way. -And we are so far only using the free version. – But I’m pretty sure that one of these days we will upgrade to pro. We have tested this theme for 4 months now, and have not met upon any problems or hindrances that have made us dislike this theme in any way. Mostly it is quite the opposite that happens – The theme actually surprises us with how well-composed it is and with it’s versatility. A definite 5-star as far as the free version go, and I suppose that also goes for the pro-version which only can be even better!
