Days ago I wrote a mesage to the sketchthemes.com community and since then I have been waiting for an answer. The documentation of the theme is not easy to understand and any change I want to make to the theme is a struggle. I am not a programmer but I know basic coding. I was not expecting such struggle and no spupport whatsoever from a theme company. That is a complete disappointment. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The template is very nice and easy to use.
I only would like to change the headers of the pages, but it seems I can only change the home page header.
Or did I overlook something?

But you can’t create that menu without paying them for full version of the theme.

A restaurant theme’s most important component is it’s Menu page and these guys have locked it off and yet uploaded for WordPress community to download and waste their time…

First off, let me praise the webdesign of this theme. It looks good, feels intuitive and it’s excellent for restaurants. However, if you want some changes made to the theme, u’ll need a deep understanding of coding.
Some instances:
– The dead buttons. David, kudos for the fix! Would have liked to see the dev. make this into a standard feature
– Header shows only 50% when you set your page to full width.
– Most annoyingly; You cannot change the front/”home” page. I dont want the featured stuff, I just want a regular page with the regular styling to be my home. Not possible.

Too bad, because with these tweaks it’d be a kickass and easy to use theme!

I noticed a few minor issues. I gave the author a chance to correct them. But, I’ve heard nothing about these for weeks.

1. Dead Buttons
   Buttons, such as the social icons and the “RESERVATION” button, should not appear without a URL specified. For example, if only Facebook and Twitter URLs are specified, the other social icons should not appear. For a work-around, you can drop the following code into the WordPress Custom CSS (Appearance > Edit CSS), omitting the classes for the links that you DO use:

   Custom text for the “RESERVATION” button would also be helpful. “Reservation” does not imply any call to action, as would “Reserve Now”.

2. Incorrect Suggested Featured Box Dimensions
   Within Foodeez Options, Home Page Featured Section, the suggested dimensions are 150 x 150. But, the featured boxes are fixed at 270 x 150.
3. Provide More Room for Logo
   The suggested logo image size is 156 x 40. Square logos would need to be 40 x 40. Larger images do render properly, but can have layout conflicts with other elements. The layout should be adjusted to accommodate a larger logo area. (Design clients LOVE to see their logo huge, no matter how tacky it seems to the designer.)
4. Need More Page Templates
   Currently, the theme provides two page templates – right sidebar and no sidebar. At least provide a template with left sidebar.

One Last Note
I noticed this theme has 4 new ratings and only 1 review. Yet, WordPress requires a review in order to rate:

“In order to rate a theme, you must also submit a review. Please provide as much detail as you can to justify your rating and to help others.” — WordPress.org

The author reported that the ratings without reviews were left behind due to a bug in the rating system after purging “bogus” reviews. But, the ratings without reviews are all 5-star. This is a little suspicious. I’m just saying…!

Easy to use and customize. I love the theme.

This is really great theme with all latest HTML, CSS, Jquery functionality. Also a very smooth variation between between devices of variable widths. This theme is having all functionality for setting up a restaurant menu. It’s font formatting and designing is amazing. I would suggest this theme as it would be most suitable to set up a restaurant menu now-a-days.
