Quick set up and able to do a lot of customization. Theme author is very responsive and helpful (note I posted questions on his site forums).

Frontier is a multi-purpose, HTML5 and CSS3 WordPress theme. It lets you choose between 1, 2 or 3 column layouts while offering independent template layouts for pages. The theme's responsive design makes it compatible with a wide variety of devices and screen resolutions. Frontier is easy to customize through its wide array of options that are simple and easy to understand. It has a lot of strategically placed Widget Areas and Action Hooks that helps achieve a higher level of customization. Theme features include favicons, logos, header images, color options, custom css, a simple image slider, rtl support and a whole lot more. Frontier accomplishes all this while maintaining a minimal file size for a fast and efficient WordPress experience.

    I rarely review things, but I think this theme deserves a lot.

    I tested more than 20 themes before I came across this. One thing I like about this theme is it works really well on mobile devices. I found excellent themes, but they were poor and mis-programmed for mobile.

    This is an excellent theme right out of the box, with a lot of options for making minor tweaks without having to getting into a lot of complex coding.

    What makes it great is that the developer is exceptionally responsive and helpful. He’s helped me solve a number of issues and incorporated the fix to one as a new option in a subsequent release.

    One thing to be aware of is that this is an HTML5 theme and as such contains some elements that older browsers (e.g., IE 8 and earlier) may not know how to deal with. You can address some of those by adding the Modernizr plugin or something similar, but certain elements may not translate. This is in no way an aspersion on the theme — just something to keep in mind, especially if you’re developing a site for a client.

    I went through at least 8 other WP themes before I found Frontier. I wasted hours trying to customize sites before becoming frustrated and looking for a new one. Frontier is the best I’ve found. It’s very self-explanatory, has tons of features, and is extremely customizable without going in to code.

    The developer is super responsive, very detailed in replies and answers quickly.

    I have reported 2 minor problems on the dev site about the theme. Each one got fixed almost immediatly. So I change my rate from 4 to 5 stars without a doubt. This theme is definitly a must have.

    This is the first theme that I adopt immediatly after preview it. I had to modify some scripts to translate some texts into french for my blog but it definitely worth it (fixed). A really great job.
