Garfunkel

I’ve been hopping between themes lately, but I think this is the one I might be settling on. Looks great. Easy to edit/create a child theme for. Everything well laid out.
Am having some slight issues with featured images which is the only reason I’m not giving it a five stars.

This theme works great for my website’s concept especially after I made some minor changes. It took me a while to find a theme that would work well and this one’s just amazing. Thanks a lot Anders!

The Guy has talent and each of his themes makes me grateful for him for their simplicity and beautiful layout. I use 2 of them (one for my blog and one for photography) and both work great and smoothly.

It was almost as easy as installing WordPress. I added a few tweaks of my own, but even without those you can set up a visually appealing site, that works well on mobile as well and that is different from all those other two- or three column designs.

If you want something like a search box, or you want to show the latest comments, you’ll have to find different solutions. But that’s basically because of your own decision to go for this kind of design.

I am fairly new to wordpress and tried the popular themes. When trying Garfunkel I was positively amazed of how little effort was needed to tweak it. Mostly everything was already there from my previous tweaking. Yet I like the look and the idea of leaving all the details to plugins.
