Harmonic

This is a cool theme with a lot of potential.

However, I’m forking this theme and I am coming across a lot of minor coding errors and general sloppiness, which is unusual for Automattic’s themes. Someone needs to sit down and clean up the templates and stylesheets on this theme!

Works great for me and is pretty fast despite all of the pictures included. Definitely a solid choice and pretty customizable.

I was looking for a clean, solid theme for a friend’s blog and found it in Harmonic. It is easy to set up and has a basic but slick look.

Only downside in my opinion is the floating fixed footer which is annoying on smaller (laptop) screens. It takes a lot of space which could be used for content.

I am definitely impressed. The adaptation was smooth. Coming from the standard theme I had to exchange several images, to make the best use the extravagant broad featured images, but the software does a brilliant job with stretching 1240px images to 3000px screens.

The broad images are incredibly cool. The text format and font go well with the image-based design. I had tried to create something like this with html – yet the wordpress site management is cooler.

The mobile version is smoothly integrated. Narrow down the browser window and you see how layout adapts.
