I’m a WordPress newbie so starting my WordPress journey with a great theme to begin with has been a taunting adventure. There are so many themes out there, but which one is “the right one”? On my path, I’ve purchased several themes only to find that in the end I couldn’t make the minor tweaks I wanted or that support for the theme was lacking (they already got my $$)!

Sparking fit the bill and its appearance option panel gives far more choices for customization than other themes. If you are in a bind (like I was SEVERAL TIMES), Aigers gives awesome support to help out. I cannot thank him enough for all his help!

Took me a bit to realize that the customization options show up under a new “Appearance -> Theme Options” item on the admin panel, not the “Customize” section. Element descriptions are a bit vague but with some trial and error I got it looking just as I wanted. Very professional looking & clean!

This is a clean, easy to use Theme. Easy to edit and provides many options.
I could not figure out how to remove the Title from the static home page, but there is great support. I fixed it easily and now I’m ready to go. Thank you and great work!

I’m very happy with this theme, and how much I have been able to do without breaking down and creating a child theme yet again. Built-in controls for layout, color and type go far, and I have been able to make the few additional changes I wanted using the theme’s “enter your own CSS” box.

I’ve been looking for a simple looking but elegant theme for a while. With Sparkling I’ve stopped looking as it ticks all my boxes. The author is very helpful at the Colorlib forums. Great work! I would easily shell out some dough for this one – but it’s free!
