For a long time I was looking for a clean theme that showcased the content in a crisp, beautiful way, without distracting the user with bells and whistles. Maker is exactly what I was looking for. Add to this an outstanding support by its creator, and you get the best theme experience you could wish for.

The source code is simple, well commented and easy to customize.
It’s not the easiest theme to set up, but there’s a brilliant manual explaining everything. Definitely worth it!
It’s responsive, easy to use, and it looks awesome.

Maybe I’m crazy, but this theme does not appear to work at all on WP 4.4.1. Cannot get it to look anything like it does in the screenshot. The live preview of the theme no longer looks anything like the screenshot of it either. The developer needs to update this theme, because right now it is useless.

I confess, I’m yet to install it and try out on my own (I will, and I’ll update my review), but the demo is really awesome. Thank you for your work.
