I started with the free theme to test things out and as another reviewer noted, the demo importer is key to best utilize the theme. I was doing some CSS edits in a child theme and ran into some roadblocks. The forums have a lot of topics and searching doesn’t necessarily surface what you’re looking for right away. Don’t be afraid to start a topic in the forums. They responded with a suggestion (that worked) within a reasonable amount of time considering we’re in different countries…and I’m on my way again.     I used this theme as a child theme on one of my recent builds. It was solid and easy to extend. Good product , good support. Recommended.

    The tags on this theme CLAIM that it supports featured images, but it doesn’t. I just spent a ton of time configuring other parts of the site and the finally got to some pages that needed featured images and couldn’t get them to show up at all. After much research, I discovered that the theme description is dishonest.

    DO NOT USE.

    This theme offers all of the features our Genealogical Society was looking for. The support has been outstanding – questions usually answered (completely) within a day. I especially love the ability to easily add css patches to make minor changes.
