Kameron is a WordPress theme for photographers. Its top features include horizontal portfolio layout, fullscreen galleries with social share, pricing and services pages, background images, left side menu bar with parallax background image and more!

We spent a lot of our time talking and listening to photographers all over the world to better understand what exactly photographers need in a portfolio theme. Kameron is the result of this collaboration. We created this theme with everything you need as a photographer and nothing you don’t!

We don’t believe in 100s of shortcodes and features that no-one is going to use! At the same time, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to personalize your site by giving you the features that you can actually use without any WordPress or programming knowledge. We do our best to create usable interfaces and fresh, exciting designs and Kameron is exactly that!

Kameron comes with a unique custom made fullscreen gallery that was designed and developed with the photographer in mind. This gallery comes with multiple options that can de turn on and off. These include description and title area, thumbnail strip, fullscreen image option, scale-down image option, social sharing, gallery color customization and easy access to main site navigation.

It?s extremely important to us that our themes are easy to use for everyone, not just for tech-savvy people. Your Kameron will come with a 1-click demo install option that will make setting up super easy! All 3 demos are included in your purchase so you will be able to easily import the demo and then personalize the site to your hearts content!

With Kameron you are not confined to a single portfolio page. Easily create multiple portfolio pages with unique galleries in each one. And thanks to the latest HTML and PushState technology your Kameron will be fast loading mo matter how may galleries you create.

Requirements

Since version 1.6.3 Kameron requires PHP 5.4 to work. Regular users shouldn’t worry about this requirement too much, as most quality hosting providers already should provide PHP 5.6 or PHP 7 as the default. However, if you’re running on an old hosting environment, make sure that it can support the theme.

  • Bugs By nept, 2017-01-03 via themeforest.net I would have loved to rate this one higher but I don't find it very user friendly and there are a couple bugs I ran into and will have to resort to a differnt theme.
    Hope this one gets sorted because I really liked the concept.

Cute end result doesn't redeem the poor tools you pay $59, with which you could get a more functional theme or even JUST a grid plugin. Doesn't feel like a commercial theme. High price, low performance, VERY inflexible, one-trick pony, rarely updated (only bug fixes), no admin panel really. Defensive developer doesn't listen and just justifies lack of functionality in the way Apple defended lack of cut and paste for years after it was considered standard. Isn't written in the description that you can only have EITHER lightbox gallery or the unclickable thumbnails version - you can't mix the two. Lack of multiple page templates, prehistoric, crippled page-builder for slides. Developer said it's a dead product (their best seller!) and has no intentions of improving it. My worst puchase of $200-$300 worth of stuff I've bought w/Envato,. Because I couldn't get a refund, it has made me wary of buying from small & medium sized developers now. I only buy themes with sales upwards of 2000, with 4.75 stars or higher, w/updates in the changelog (not left for dead). This theme if their best-seller, yet the one they stand least behind. I wish they'd had the 60 day money back guarantee back when I bought this. I wasted $60 for something pretty unusable for me, and knew it within the first 2 days. A newbie who buys this will think that it's their ignorance, and just be impressed with the end product. But other would be upset, knowing it is an inferior product that makes you consider coding your OWN theme, since you have to mod so much yourself,especially after getting terrible customer support. I read the wife sniping a (better) developer, accusing him of stealing designs, proving that again they are graphic designers and don't understand that functionality isn't an afterthought. There are several horizontal themes that do this better in all facets. Don't buy the extra support, unless you like "attitude".

    Kameron is a stable theme, not a dead one. With over 1800 sales, we're confident that we've done something right. Adding a half-a-million buttons and knobs isn't going to do anyone any good, well, maybe except you.
    Most of our customers never have to "mod" a single thing. They like the demo, they want a site that looks like that, and they get it, no fuss. That's what we deeply care about.
    Thanks for comparing us to Apple :) - that's just spot on.
    Most of the themes here on Themeforest do everything and anything at the same time ( kind of like Android ). We try our best not to do that. Sometimes we just have to take the occasional bad rating from someone who thinks that all premium themes should be multipurpose, or that every single design decision should be made by the customer, but we strongly believe that designers and developers should do their job so that our clients don't have to. Yes, that includes "adding features", but it also includes saying no to some features, making sure the themes are easy to setup and well thought out. That's what we do - we Design themes and stand by our designs. It seems to work very well for us and for most of our customers.
    So yeah - some people hate Apple for their un-customizable hardware or their locked-down software. But most professionals - love it. Including us. Because it's designed with care and works just right.
